On Starting Over

How do you cope with unmet expectations?

I’ve seen things I thought wouldn’t happen, happened. I’ve seen things I thought would happen, it didn’t.

We often set the bar very high, and there is nothing wrong with it. Remember when you aim for 100, and at some points you feel like you won’t make it, I’m sure you’ll get nearly so: 70, 80, 90. Not your desirable point, but hey, you’re almost there. On the contrary, you may also imagine the pain of not getting what you want. Which one will you choose? Will you feed your brain with the ease of ‘almost there’, or the pain of ‘not getting there’?

If things turned the other way around, will you be ready to start over?
